I need you help with my home theater set? What is the best set up?
I need some advice. I decided he would rather go with the 73-inch Mitsubishi (WD73733), which I did. I wanted a home theater setup, that was good and reasonably related to. I found the "Denon DHT-687BA together these components Packs: A Denon AVR-687 Receiver Denon DVD-557 player and Boston Acoustics 5.1 Micro-channel speaker system. I do not know much, but I liked from the price, as there was clearance at 500 and had excellent reviews from users all over love, which seem to be the setup. I listened to him and it was great. Here is my concern: It has a ton of features, but it does not have any HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output. Do I get worried not? This thing has a ton of input-output jacks (6 total S-Video, 3 component video in, 2 components, 4 composite video input, 2 digital coaxial inputs, 2 TOSLINK inputs, 7 stereo audio inputs). Not sure what to do all this, but I reserved This cause of the deal and now Im concerned. Can someone please give me some advice?
First, buy, not just because it is a "game" is off by $ 500. Sure, it may be appropriate that there is a "combo" pack it, but it looks like the included receiver is more of a entry level Denon. Denon makes some nice receivers, they do not just happen to be one of them. Today and in the near future you will see more devices with HDMI, so that this device is missing, this is a big negative there. If your looking for simplicity for connecting to your TV, then I would definitely recommend a receiver that upconvert everyone on both component inputs can be out or HDMI output. The Onkyo TX-SR605 offers much flexibility for the price and even supports a second Zone Audio. The receiver can feed composite video, S-Video, component and HDMI output and it will be all to your TV via (1) HDMI cable. Of course, Denon has a model that this stuff not to, but it is much more money. So personally want to avoid, I will be packed with a deal and instead buying items separately, so you can pick out can better components.
